6% Commitment
Sharing has always been a core part of what I do - both in terms of what I have to offer as a cymbal maker, and in terms of what I can give for a worthy cause. That is why I have decided that 6% of F. Madejski Cymbals total gross revenue will support the work of the Polish Medical Mission - credible and experienced NGO delivering aid to people in the world's most crisis-affected regions. Their support reaches Ukraine, the Gaza Strip, Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Ethiopia, Senegal, Colombia, and Venezuela. PMM and also responds to crisis situations within Poland. Learn more about their projects here. I wholeheartedly commit to donating a share of my workshop's revenue to them, knowing that every single penny will be used to bring help where it is needed most urgently. I also encourage you to visit the Polish Medical Mission's website to learn more and - individually or through your company - support their work.
Previous donations
In a previous phase of this initiative, I donated part of the gross revenue to support Ukrainian refugees in Poland. This was a direct response to what began in February 2022. As a result of that campaign, between 2022 and 2023 I contributed a total of PLN 18990 (about EUR 4050) to the Homo Faber foundation - an NGO providing immediate assistance and running long-term support and integration projects for refugees in Poland. Homo Faber also makes a remarkable contribution to broader public awareness of human rights and the refugee context. I warmly encourage you to follow and support their work as well.
Why the change in donation focus?
I have the deepest respect for both organisations and would gladly support them both. My current choice reflects the observation that the number of crises and conflicts demanding the most urgent, life-saving assistance has grown in the meantime. That is why I have decided this time to support the Polish Medical Mission that delivers exactly that kind of help.
